Pole 303 – Pole 505: These classes require skin to stick to the pole so please wear shorts, tank-tops and/or sport’s bras. Recommended footwear includes indoor rubber-soled shoes and bare feet. We DO NOT recommend wearing high heels of any kind.
Dance Fitness Classes:Â Proper athletic footwear is recommended for all Dance Fitness classes with the exception of Exotic Dance Level 1 and 2 and Lap Dance, which require high heels OR bare feet.
Pole dancing is a body weight resistance exercise. Every time you perform a move, you get a great stretch, keeping your muscles long and lean as opposed to short and bulky, which lifting weights can often do. Pole Dancing offers a complete body workout combining strength training, fat burning and stretching. Why struggle to find the willpower to go to the gym? Get excited about working out! You are so focused on learning the moves that you forget you are even exercising.
